This section of the site is designed to give you some more information about what to expect, wear or bring to the session.

One of my main goals is to make this the most stress-free photography encounter that you have experienced. If your child is crying, it's not going to freak me out! For smaller children, it can be a good idea to bring along a small toy or snack to help keep them smiling and looking at the camera.

A question I get from almost everyone is, "What should I wear?". Everyone has a different style, so at the end of the day, it's best to go with something that reflects who you are. I'm all for getting out of the box with your wardrobe and having fun with it though. Jewelry, scarves, hats, jackets, cool shoes... they are definitely OK to have! Do your best to try to not have one family member in neon, one in pastels, and they other in a prairie outfit though. It always works best if you are coordinated. If you want some examples of what I'm referring to, check out some of the images to the left.

Lastly, I will most likely bring along a prop or two that we can use at some point during the session (usually a chair or suitcase or something). However, I HIGHLY encourage you to bring things that you think will be cool. Some things that people have brought in the past include: balloons, dried bouquet of roses from when he proposed, a board game, etc. This is your chance to get creative and make the session unique to you!

I like to have fun with my clients and go with the flow. A few things I would ask in return are that you refrain from taking photos with your own camera at the session and that you not bring more than a few "helpers" along with us.

If you have any other questions about what your session will be like, just ask!
